
The 90/10 Rule
Not a day goes by that I don’t meet someone who feels compelled to discuss how food and exercise mix together. The most common notion is that exercise is the key to weight loss and a healthy living. Most believe that the balance between food and exercise is 50/50. However, in reality, the mix is more like 90/1o–90 percent food management and 10 percent exercise. But don’t be discourage, you can get a grip on both and reach your goals.

I agree. Healthy food choices and diet is really the only way to get the scale moving. Exercise helps with toning and reducing body fat, but if you want to lose weight you need to clean up your diet. My trainer can always tell when I fall off the clean eating wagon! Always good to have a reminder!
